A vector in a Vector Space $(V,F,+,\cdot )$ is any element of $V$.

NOTATION

Vectors are usually denoted in one of the following ways:

$\mathbf{v}\mathbf{v}\vec{v}$

The following notations are also used, albeit less often:

$\underline{v}\overline{v}$
