Measurement#

Measurement is the only non-linear, non-invertible operation we can do with a quantum state. It is a non-deterministic operation which forces superpositions to collapse to randomly collapse into a pure state and the probability with which the superposition may collapse into each pure state is determined by the coefficients of its basis representation in the chosen computational basis.
